BWAC Flat Files

BWAC is starting a Flat File for prints and drawings. The flat file will be located in our Pier galleries at Van Brunt St. Members interested in participating may submit prints and drawings to be stored in the flat file. The works you submit must be available for sale to the viewing public. You will provide title, image size, medium, edition size, or 'Unique' if it is one of a kind, such as a drawing, your asking price, your brief resume and, good quality digital prints of the works you are submitting. You may submit your images by email or upload them at the Pier if you have them on a CD.

If the work you are submitting is part of an edition BWAC will not be filing entire editions. Two copies ONLY of any one image will be held on file. You may replenish works as they are sold. There is a limit a limit of 25 pages per artist. All artists works will be filed in the Flat Files. The sold works will be professionally wrapped in museum quality cellophane envelopes provided by BWAC. Our emphasis will be as usual: a professional presentation of the artists works.

A listing of all the Flat File artists will be on a computer at the Pier Galleries. The public will access your works first by viewing them digitally through the computer file. The public will also have access to the Flat Files but only with the supervision of BWAC assigned members so as to protect the individual works as well as for security. White cotton gloves will be provided for those patrons wanting to inspect the art works. Sales will be conducted by BWAC personal. A 25% commission will be collected by BWAC to help support our membership activities.

If you are interested or want more information, contact Carlo Grassini at cart2gonow@nyc.rr.com.
