Brooklyn Public Library Presents Storytime with Araceli Poma

  • Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition Inc 481 Van Brunt Street, Door 7 Brooklyn, NY, 11231 United States (map)

Join Grammy-nominated musician Araceli Poma and dancer Jossie as they play and tell stories in Spanish and English. Araceli will bring her charango from her native Peru and tell us a little about her beautiful culture, with rhythms of Andean and Afro-Peruvian music. Join us for this fun way to learn. Araceli's family programs bring her passion for her traditional music and language to New York children and families.

This special performance kicks off Red Hook Library and Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition's (BWAC) Fall Storytime Series. On select Saturdays (10/28, 11/04, 11/18, 12/02, and 12/09), we will read stories for kids from ages 0-7 and then do a simple craft together. Come for storytime and stay for the art at BWAC -- tell your friends and bring your little ones!
