Crazy Joy Time for You
A solo exhibition by BWAC member Kumi Hirose
We live our daily lives amidst a wide range of emotions—anxiety, worry, anticipation, joy, delight, sorrow, and anger.
The eyes, flowers, tears, strawberries, lips, and mysterious creatures that appear in my work symbolize the energy of these emotions.
At first glance, the world I create appears vivid and pop-inspired; yet, beneath the surface lie joy and madness, beauty and chaos, and a deep desire to offer powerful encouragement.
