On September 17, 2025, a devastating fire occurred in the building at 481 Van Brunt St. forcing us find a new home.

With the help of good neighbors, we came together for a great afternoon with live music, snacks, an auction, and a raffle to help keep this 47 year old institution a part of Brooklyn’s community.

In Memory of Greg O’Connell

April 8, 1942 - August 2, 2025

Decades-long friend and benefactor of BWAC, Greg O’Connell has passed away at the age of 83. Without him, there would never have been a Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition in Red Hook.
