Multimedia: I stretched vintage fabric (1940s barkcloth) on the canvas and then attached paper, cardboard, and fabric. Some of the attachments are vintage 1940s ephemera. "Homefront" is an homage to my father who fought in WWII as part of the Navy Construction Battalion. The piece also asks the viewer to consider the deprivations of those who were at home during war time: “Use it up. Wear it out. Make it do. Or do without.”
