Pen and ink (2026)
84x42x0.1 in
Love is handwritten right to left and left to right, descending in black ink the full length of the sheet. Before it dries, ‘Fear’ is stamped forward and flipped, sliding downward with gravity on the vertical surface. The wet ink merges into every shade of grey between them. The marks become ambiguous, impossible to read — the conflict and the wearing out that fear has over love.
