The semi-transparent glass ouroboros — a serpent eating its tail — with sculpted scales is an alchemical symbol of perpetual destruction and rebirth. Her enigmatic work is inspired, in part, by her engagement with Maurice Merleau-Ponty's eponymous concept that our bodies and the world around us are interconnected.”
